Back Home

The little yellow dot like flowers are called common tansy and, at one time, the leaves of the plant were used for abortions. It's a poison though, so sometimes, probably not knowing how much it took to be effective, the mom's died too.
We are back home, and on Tuesday, we met Sarah, Peder, and the two kidlings at Canal Park in Duluth. Sarah took some wonderful pictures of our adventures. Then we went to "Gramma's" for lunch, walked out to see the lighthouse and threw rocks in the clear water by the breaker. After that, Ken and I headed home. We'd planned to stay another night, but we hadn't
planned
what to do with our time. I guess we were all decisioned out.
