We've established that Ken has a torn (in four places) rotator cuff. So, today we went together to consult with a surgeon about what it would mean to "not have" and "to have" surgery on it to reattach those pesky ligaments. In the end, Ken wanted his arm back and the surgeon told us it wouldn't get any better, always be vulnerable, if he didn't have the surgery. The hard part... will be the recovery. You have to be very careful with the arm, his right/dominant one, for three months after the surgery so that you don't undo the surgery.
It's same day surgery scheduled for Oct. 26th.
