I'm currently under the influence of a book called "The Gifts of Imperfection" by Brene (say it Bren-ay) Brown. So, I've been thinking about making things that aren't perfect. I'd like to call this painting "Perfect Imperfection" because the fact that this portrays a quilt that is very imperfectly made doesn't diminish the perfection of making it with love. And, it was fun inking all the little blanket stitches around the applique.
