It never fails: it always breaks my heart to take the Christmas tree down. So, I got it done today without thinking about it too much and Ken "planted" it by the bird feeders (We're out of sunflower seeds right now). We like to see the birds using it for shelter through the winter.
And I made a little not green and not red center piece for the table to lift my spirits. Happy Un-holiday, my friends. Unholidays are what make the holidays feel good.
I like your centerpiece! Also, it's a great idea to recycle your Christmas tree. Do you put peanut butter on pinecones for the birds?
