Taco night with Sarah and co.

Sarah with Leo
Just a few pictures of our Friday night delights.  We had tacos with the French doors wide open to dine
semi-al fresco.  We could hear the birds chirping and feel the air without letting in the bugs.
Turtle Doves on the feeder
One of the strange effects of the screen porch is that both the birds and the grandchildren seem to feel like we're not there as long as we're inside the porch.  With the bird feeders further away and maybe because they're closer to the shelter of the lilac bush, we're seeing more varieties of birds more often.  The turtle doves are new and the red-winged blackbirds keep eluding me when I try to take a picture.  We see a cardinal family often and, of course there are still the gold finches, sparrows and occasional chickadee-dee-dees.
