She was wonderful! Her voice (always the biggest fear with these old folks) was as clear and beautiful as ever. She's really skinny and her hair was long and a beautiful silver color. It was such a treat to be just a few feet from her and listening to some old favorite songs (Ken waxed romantic I think) and some beautiful new ones and in between so many stories about her old pals and colleagues. The only problem I had was that I didn't want it to be over.
So, here's the excited couple before setting out and....
The only painting I got done today was my toenails. (I really wanted them to match the red accents in my dress!)
